Alcohol & drug prevention in the workplace
We prevent and provide support to counteract alcohol and drug abuse in workplaces - the goal is to create a safer work environment for all employees.
Policy:
A policy for a sober and drug-free work environment is the foundation of a drug prevention program. We assist with counseling and support for the introduction of drug policies and action programs in collaboration with the workplace. Based on our drug policy template, we can work with your company to tailor a policy that suits the company's business. Sampling: We perform all types of sampling:
Support and consultation: We have access to MRO doctors who provide expert assistance in interpreting individual analysis results. We can provide advice and support in these matters. There is also the possibility of expert support in rehabilitation issues through our network of partners. MRO Doctor: An independent assessor of the entire process of enterprise testing. An MRO doctor has the task of checking that all steps from sampling to feedback of test results are quality assured. This ensures the accuracy of the test result in the event of a legal review. Counselling: Our long experience of methods for early detection and remediation of hazardous use of alcohol is used in connection with health examinations and medical consultations. Here, conversations are combined with biological markers and a time-limited counseling and self-help training. |
Tests:
We have many years of experience in sampling and medical care. We use Swedish and foreign suppliers of the tests. All our tests in Sweden are analyzed by Karolinska Institutet's laboratory in Stockholm and are all SWEDAC accredited. We work closely with Drugtest Scandinavia, which has a long and solid expertise in this area and has been involved in the formulation of European guidelines in drug testing. The employer has a rehabilitation responsibility towards the employee. As an occupational health service, we help you develop a rehabilitation plan that fits the individual's needs. Visida has a very close collaboration with City Outpatient Care, which is Norrbotten's oldest specialized outpatient clinic for alcohol, drug and gambling problems as well as codependency.
