Measurement of alcohol in the breath

We can offer measurement of alcohol in exhaled air at workplaces. We are flexible in terms of times and days and have a great habit of being out at workplaces, and have the capacity to do everything from a few samples to hundreds of samples at work groups.

We at Visida have chosen to use Dräger breathalyzers for professional measurement of alcohol in exhaled air. We perform regular calibration checks on all our devices, and certificates for this are available to our customers.

In the assignment, we agree with the customer and can also advise on the following procedures:

  • What do we do when someone blows red?
  • Make sure there is a link to existing alcohol and drug policies.
  • How do we ensure that an employee is not unduly singled out?
  • Protect the privacy of the individual as far as possible.
  • Introduce routines to eliminate discomfort and misleading results during contamination or similar.
  • Have a local negotiation and work early on the new routines together with unions, safety representatives and employers.
  • Certificate regarding verification and calibration of selected breathalyzer equipment.
